The staff are lovely and friendly. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside so we had to eat outside. The food was excellent, but many places are dog-friendly now, and I think they are missing out.

The hotel is great for a fair price, with delicious food and breakfast. The room is spacious and the staff is friendly in a beautiful environment! Overall, very good. The terrace could use an upgrade.

You couldn't ask for more from a reasonably priced hotel. The room is lovely and traditional, with a good shower. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is great, and the location is beautiful. Looking for a good stay that's affordable? This is the place to go.

Stayed for two nights. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was good, and the evening dinner was superb.

A group of six friends enjoyed an excellent lunch today. We all ordered different meals, which were all served at the same time and piping hot. The young lady who welcomed us, served drinks, and waited our table was super efficient and friendly. We will definitely be coming back, it was absolutely superb.

Lovely little gem in the quiet village of Mendham. The pub has a great authentic atmosphere, and the locals are very friendly. The hotel manager (Mark) and Lisa are delightful hosts. The food is in good portions, freshly cooked, and very tasty. I would highly recommend staying here.

What a little gem! We stopped for Saturday lunch and were greeted by a very welcoming barman. We tried the picnic platter for 2, which was delicious, homemade, and amazing value. We will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu. Well worth a visit.

Nice beer, and I believe they are open all day except Mondays. They also serve food, although I'm not sure if they still have a bar and a la carte menu.

Had a pleasant lunch with friends here on Wednesday. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly. I had Guinness 0.0% and Ghost Ship 0.5% (I was driving).

I would definitely recommend this place. A group of us had a delicious lunch here after walking in the Waveney Valley. The food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

This place is awesome! Quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. The food is amazing, and the staff are incredibly helpful. I don't recommend many places, but I highly recommend this one.
